Terms and Conditions

The following is a basic summary of our claim policy. These are based on policies from the various mills we represent.

  1. Claims will be considered for manufacturing defects only.
  2. Claims for labor in connection with replacement may not be considered.
  3. Customers and installers are responsible for ensuring that style, size, & color are correct before cutting and installing.
  4. Claims will not be considered for visible manufacturing defects or wrong color after the merchandise has been cut or installed.
  5. Claims will not be considered for merchandise sold as second-quality irregular, remnants, or at a substantial discount from the list price.
  6. Claims for merchandise damaged through improper maintenance or installation will not be considered.
  7. Claims will not be considered for pattern side match of printed merchandise. (I.E. commercial prints)
  8. Claims for freight damage, visible or concealed, are to be filled with the carrier. Our receipt from the carrier acknowledges that they received merchandise in good condition.
  9. In no case shall our claims liability exceed our customer’s cost of the merchandise.
  10. Color may vary slightly from dye lot to dye lot. Claims will not be considered for color variations within accepted tolerances.
  11. Merchandise may not be returned unless authorized by your salesperson.
  12. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee and must be authorized by your salesperson.

Installation:

The carpet installer used to install your flooring may have been engaged on your behalf through Buy Floors Wholesale. As a convenience to you, our customer. The installer is not an employee, agent, or representative of Buy Floors Wholesale. And he or she is solely liable for the quality of his or her work and actions.
